Silver lining.

Today is a good day.

I can walk.
I can still breathe (for now),
I can mix it up with the best of them.

No waiting,
just waiting on
dinner plans.

An old flame rang me up today
wants to get together.
I turned her down for the last one
and we all know how
that ended.

Combing over the past
righting all the wrongs.
Looking for a fresh start
from bitter ends.

Today is a good day.
In a long line
of bad ones.
